The Role:
As an Analyst on the Surveys team, you will play a key role in enabling AlphaSights’ clients to collect expert insights via online, programmed surveys. The Analyst is our Client Service team’s quality gatekeeper, responsible for ensuring survey integrity at every stage of the lifecycle, primarily through testing programmed surveys and troubleshooting errors in logic and survey design.
This is a chance to utilize your skills in problem solving, quantitative analysis, and communication to help AlphaSights’ survey project managers solve client pain points and unlock advanced survey capabilities, and in turn, help AlphaSights clients succeed. You will be based in New York and will support our Surveys teams in both offices.

What you’ll do:
Quality Control: Partner with Client Service Managers and Associates to provide advanced quality assurance, including troubleshooting bugs, optimizing survey flow, and comprehensive auditing
Advance survey capabilities: Progress our capabilities to service sophisticated research methodologies (e.g. pricing questions) via advanced survey coding, authoring, and analysis
Support live stakeholder requests: Work with AlphaSights leadership across all parts of the business to drive ongoing process improvement
Data analysis & visualization: Over time, you may have the opportunity to clean, analyze, and draw valuable insights from survey data and occasionally create presentation-ready reports to deliver immediately accessible insights to clients
Who you are:
Entry-level role: 0-2 years of working experience. Relevant work/internship experience at a consulting, market research firm, or in a role working with data in a business context, are preferred.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills: You love working with data, enjoy technical challenges and have an innate desire to solve business problems analytically; also evidenced by holding a 3.5 GPA or above in a quantitative degree (e.g., Engineering, Math, Economics, Finance)
Meticulous: You hold yourself to high standards, have obsessive attention to detail and take a methodical approach to work
Great problem solver: You have an aptitude for solving complex and unstructured problems
Comfortable with ambiguity and high level of autonomy: You’re able to context switch effectively between various responsibilities and stakeholders, and can drive forward your work independently. This is a new role and will require a proactive and autonomous mindset.
Highly driven and proactive: You have excellent planning and organizational skills, can meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads in a fast-paced environment
Want to create impact: You care about solving business problems and providing senior leaders with actionable data insights that propel the growth of AlphaSights
Effective communicator: You have excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills; can clearly articulate your points and absorb feedback from both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Technical skills:
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with coding (SQL, Python, R, VBA etc.) is a plus
Familiarity with survey platforms (Decipher, Qualtrics, etc.) is a plus
Experience with multiple reporting mediums (Periscope, Tableau etc.) is a plus
Must pass a quantitative based test for application to be progressed
Compensation and benefits:
Total first-year compensation is $80,000*
17 vacation days, in addition to 10 public holidays, and an end of year break between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

*Annual base salary shall increase to $85,000 after July 2026.
