Why did you join AlphaSights?
I wanted to join a company where I could use my experience to support the business and also explore further potential. AlphaSights offered me the opportunity to cover the HR responsibilities of four countries in Asia, which allowed me to experience different cultures.

Tell me about your position at AlphaSights.

As HR Manager for four different AlphaSights offices, I help solve day-to-day HR issues, support the leadership team with people management and provide data and observations to management from time to time to address potential staffing challenges.

What is your greatest success so far?
My greatest achievement so far is that over the last year and a half I have gradually built up and optimized the human resources function in Asia. This includes standardizing HR processes, streamlining reporting and introducing consultation as well as partnering mechanisms for key businesses and stakeholders. Being mindful and making connections between the different parts of my work helps me to identify and assess challenges in talent management.

What makes AlphaSights unique?
The culture that centres on the values of drive, results-orientation, empathy, adaptability, and humility makes the company very unique. These core values shape the way employees interact with internal and external stakeholders every day. People here are vibrant, energetic, and value different perspectives for personal growth, which makes for a high level of inclusive culture.

What are you passionate about?
The “client-centred” mindset is something I’ll always carry deep in my heart. As a HR professional, it is sometimes more important to “do the right things” than to “do things right.”
