The Product Analyst Role:

As a Product Analyst on AlphaSights’ Technology & Strategy team, you will make an impact from Day 1 on AlphaSights’ growth trajectory through delivering insights that maximize our technology investment. You will pair with a Group Product Manager and become a critical member of their team through reporting on product usage and surfacing insights to drive product prioritization and problem definition.

We don’t care that you’re “only a graduate analyst”. We believe that giving smart people the autonomy and responsibility to solve complex problems leads to the best results, regardless of tenure. In return, we expect you to endlessly pursue excellence and find new ways to bring value to your product area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, ambitious individual that loves problem solving and seeing direct impact from their work. You’ll be motivated every day by your highly driven team members that continuously push you to be better and make coming into work something you genuinely look forward to.

You will be based in London, but will work with employees from across the organization (both regionally and functionally). You will report directly to the Product Analytics manager. However, your day-to-day stakeholders will be the product managers within the product area you own.

  • Investigate our user experience through querying our internal database and using external product analytics tools to develop and communicate structured insights that inform our future roadmap and adoption strategy
  • Assist in your product manager’s product discovery to scope user problems and identify commercial opportunity through analytics and interviewing users which will then directly inform the solution we build
  • Build dashboards and presentations to report on user adoption and impact measurement to technology leadership
  • Define quarterly impact goals in our planning process with your product managers
  • Partner with software engineering to design the database on newly developed products to ensure we’re tracking important user actions that you’ll want to measure upon release
