The Role
AlphaSights is seeking an experienced Payroll Associate to join the finance team for at least an 18 month period and manage a variety of key work streams pertaining to the multi-jurisdictional payroll of the Group. These work streams involve the initiation of payroll to full posting into the accounting systems. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on individual to work within a small team and taking ownership of parts of the global payroll remit. AlphaSights believes in the development of all its talent. As a people-based business, payroll is the key dimension where various shorter- and longer-term incentive and other people-based remuneration structures converge. The expectation is that this will afford the right candidate to own the payroll remit across regions of responsibility and shape its development. This will suit someone who takes pride in specialism and ownership, but naturally seeks to bring light to the often neglected boundaries with other specialisms within the finance team (e.g., accounts payable, accounting), as well as other functions (e.g., HR).
What you’ll do
It will be essential that you possess strong IT skills, in particular with Excel to at least undertake look ups and analyse volumes of data to assist management decision making. You will need to be proactive and a great team player with strong communication and people skills.
This is a great opportunity to deepen multi-jurisdictional payroll management know-how and understanding with respect to related accounting/finance work streams as part of our finance training programme.
