AlphaSights Emerging Leaders Program 

Are you a current sophomore (Class of 2025) interested in considering a career at AlphaSights? The AlphaSights Emerging Leaders Program is an annual leadership program designed to provide students with an opportunity to learn about our firm, culture, and people. This one day virtual conference invites high performing students from across the country to explore career possibilities at AlphaSights by attending interactive learning activities and events while building a network with peers and AlphaSights professionals. Qualified students will have the opportunity to receive an accelerated interview process for a Summer 2024 internship and an invitation to visit our New York office in late summer 2023 if extended an internship offer.

The AlphaSights Emerging Leaders Program is open to students who are two years from graduation and interested in a Summer 2024 internship opportunity on our Client Service Team in our New York office.

What We Look For

AlphaSights welcomes candidates with different backgrounds and experiences. Here are some qualities that many of our successful applicants possess:

  • Strong academic credentials gained from any undergraduate major
  • Innate curiosity and excitement about the business world — ideally evidenced through your undergraduate degree, past internships, etc.
  • High levels of extracurricular involvement and leadership
  • A client-first mindset, which means a relentless commitment to work on clients’ behalf and surpass their expectations
  • The drive and resilience to deliver excellent service amidst tight timelines and changing circumstances
  • Growth mindset: the ability to develop in your role over time and view setbacks as learning opportunities

Requirements

  • Undergraduate sophomore (graduating between December 2024 and June 2025)
  • Strong academic credentials and noteworthy extracurricular leadership (minimum GPA of 3.3)
  • No prior work experience is necessary, but relevant transferable experience and evidence of interest in business and a commercial career are desirable
  • Alignment with our values: we look for driven, results-oriented, adaptable, humble and empathetic individuals
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States. Employer will not sponsor work visas.

What You Can Expect as a Program Participant

Hiring Timelines

  • Submit applications by Sunday, February 12, 2023
  • Interviews with the Talent Acquisition team: January 2023 through March 2023
  • Virtual conference date: Friday, April 21, 2023
  • Accelerated Summer 2024 Internship interview process: May 2023 through July 2023
  • Visit our New York office in-person: August 2023

Summer 2024 Internship Compensation and Benefits

Participants who successfully complete our accelerated summer internship interview process after the conference are eligible to receive the following compensation & benefits as an intern on our Client Service Team:

  • Opportunity to receive a full-time employment offer to return post-graduation. Learn more about our commercial career paths here.
  • Summer 2024 internship compensation is $14,423 for a 10-week program.
  • Optional WFH on Friday
