How It Works
AlphaSights clients wish to consult with industry specialists possessing the expertise and insight needed to support time-critical, high-impact decisions. This insight may take the form of a broad industry overview, information about current trends or a particular development.
The consultation process typically follows these steps:
- 1. Expert Search and Invitation to Consult
- In response to an enquiry from one of our clients, the AlphaSights Research Team will identify and contact those Advisors whose profiles indicate expertise in the specific field of knowledge requested.
- 2. Confirmation of Suitability
- Advisors who respond to the invitation to consult will be provided with further project details and will be asked to confirm relevant domain expertise. This step helps to ensure an optimal match between client expectations and Advisor expertise, thus saving time for all parties involved.
- 3. Compliance
- Prior to a consultation, Advisors will be asked to review our Terms and Conditions in relation to the pending consultation and to reassert their compliance with them. You may at all times contact our Advisor Relations Team with any queries that you may have in relation to compliance.
- 4. Consultation
- Once an Advisor has been confirmed as suitable for a particular consultation project and has reaffirmed their understanding of our Terms and Conditions, their details will be passed to our client. Our client will then contact the Advisor to arrange a mutually convenient time for an ad hoc telephone conversation typically lasting up to one hour.
- 5. Payment
- After the consultation has taken place, Advisors are requested to log in to their Advisor Dashboard and submit an invoice. The payment will then promptly be made to the bank account of their choosing.
